Watercolor with some minute amount of colored pencil and inked borders
I started this deck back in November as a Christmas present for my partner. It got dropped for all the other Christmas presents I’d decided needed to be hand-made until around New Year, and I finally got it delivered early in February. Altogether it was about ten weeks of work.
To his credit, or my discredit, it’s not the last Christmas present I’ll be delivering retroactively for last year.

I’ve been trying out some new stuff for digital painting since I’m awful at it. I really like how this one turned out, and it was relatively quick too.

Apparently, in Hadidjahland, the only thing worse than two consecutive posts is putting a bunch of 2D and 3D in the same post. Unacceptable! It makes my tags all messy.
GameArtisans is having basically the most awesome contest ever for chibi models of various generic RPG classes. So, from left to right, concepts for chibi/Borrower-style wizard/witch doctor (Sorry Blizzard. I love you.), warrior and scribe. I really like the witch doctor, but the other two need more love and a complete redo, respectively. I’m hoping to get the entire set of six done eventually, I’m having a blast with them.
Cute girls sharing giant headphones. All it needs is for them to be sitting on a unicorn on a road made out of a rainbow, or something. I’m going to try watercoloring this and see if I don’t completely destroy it.

I don’t know how I keep managing to forget to post these up, but no more!
I’ve been trying to do more 2D work to get practice with color and… well, 2D stuff. Going to try and do the next few in proper watercolor instead of cheating it in Photoshop. It’s buckets of fun.
(For context’s sake, I drew this on May 22. Just so we’re clear that I don’t have some weird flying-naked-girl fetish, and am in fact just a bad person.)
